The Virgin of the Seven Sorrows. Coloured woodcut (carmine, vermillion, blue, green, yellow, and gold). With arched top and bottom. Cf. Lehrs in Boerner's catalogue 153, no. 43, 42. c. 5,2:4 cm.

This print with the Virgin seated and pierced by seven swords had been pasted into a Dutch prayer book of the beginning of the 16th century. Cut to the border at top and bottom, right and left border slightly cropped.
