A rare print - Lehrs mentions 20 copies - in a beautiful impression. The Apostles are standing wrapped in coats with threefold disk and ray haloes in front of an ornamented vault with a ledge. Very fine, clear impression with the nuances and qualities of an early impression. Trimmed to the border on three sides, below the monogram of Israel van Meckenem is included. In excellent condition, with a small thin aera in the lower left.
